Bismi Allahi Rahmani Rahim
2 الحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
(Alle) lof zij Allah, de Heer van de werelden.
Alhamdolillahi Rabbi l'alamin.
الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ 3

Arahmani Raheem
مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ 4
De (Enige) Bezitter van de Dag van de Vergelding.
Maliki yawmi dien
إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ 5
U Alleen aanbidden wij, en U Alleen vragen wij om hulp.
Iyaka na'bodo wa iyaka nasta'een
اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ 6
Leid ons naar het rechte Pad.
Ihdna sirata lmoestaqim
صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ 7
Het Pad van degenen die U heeft begunstigd, (en) niet (het pad) van degenen die Uw Woede verdienden, noch van degenen die dwaalden.
Sirata ladthena an'amta 'alayhim ghayri lmaghdobi 'alayhim wa la daalin

ونزعنا مَا فِي صُدُورِهِمْ مِنْ غِلٍّ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهِمُ الْأَنْهَارُ ۖ وَقَالُوا الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي هَدَانَا لِهَٰذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لِنَهْتَدِيَ لَوْلَا أَنْ هَدَانَا اللَّهُ ۖ لَقَدْ جَاءَتْ رُسُلُ رَبِّنَا بِالْحَقِّ ۖ وَنُودُوا أَنْ تِلْكُمُ الْجَنَّةُ أُورِثْتُمُوهَا بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
And We shall remove from their hearts any lurking sense of injury; beneath them will be rivers flowing; and they shall say: "Praise be to Allah Who hath guided us to this (felicity): never could we have found guidance had it not been for the guidance of Allah: indeed it was the truth that the apostles of our Lord brought unto us." And they Shall hear the cry: "Behold! the garden before you! Ye have been made its inheritors for your deeds (of righteousness)."

Rabbana thalamna anfusana wain lam taghfir lana watarhamna lanakoonanna mina alkhasireena
"Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If You forgive us not, and bestow not upon us Your Mercy, we shall certainly be of the losers."
