De profeet zegt in een hadith Qudsi, dat Allah Soebhanahoe wata Â?ala zegt:
"Ik ben hoe mijn dienaar denkt dat Ik ben, Ik ben bij hem als hij Mij
gedenkt. En als hij Mij in zichzelf gedenkt, gedenk Ik hem ook in Mijzelf, en als hij Mij bij een groep mensen gedenkt, gedenk Ik hem in een betere groep."
Whoever desires Paradise, proceeds towards goodness; whoever fears Hell, refrains from the impulses of passions; whoever believes firmly in death, detests worldly life; and whoever recognises the worldly life, the trials and tribulations (of life) become slight for him.
