Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about Reward

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "If anyone calls others to follow right guidance, his reward will be equivalent to those who follow him (in righteousness) without their reward being diminished in any respect, and if anyone invites others to follow error, the sin, will be equivalent to that of the people who follow him (in sinfulness) without their sins being diminished in any respect".

Boodschapper van Allah (ﷺ) zei: "Als iemand anderen roept om de juiste leiding te volgen, zal zijn beloning gelijk zijn aan degenen die hem volgen (in gerechtigheid) zonder dat hun beloning in enig opzicht wordt verminderd, en als iemand anderen uitnodigt om dwaling te volgen, de zonde, zal gelijk zijn aan die van de mensen die hem volgen (in zondigheid) zonder dat hun zonden in enig opzicht worden verminderd".

Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about Generosity and Orphans

Dawud said, "Be like a merciful father towards the orphan. Know that you will reap as you sow. How ugly poverty is after wealth! More than that:
how ugly is misguidance after guidance! When you make a promise to your friend, fulfil your promise. If you do not, it will bring about enmity between you and him. Seek refuge in Allah from a companion who, when you mention something to him, does not help you and who does not remind you when you forget."

Dawud zei: "Wees als een barmhartige vader jegens de wees. Weet dat je zult oogsten zoals je zaait. Hoe lelijk is armoede na rijkdom! Meer dan dat: hoe lelijk is misleiding na leiding! Wanneer je een belofte aan je vriend doet, kom je belofte na. Als je dat niet doet, zal het vijandschap tussen jou en hem veroorzaken. Zoek toevlucht bij Allah tegen een metgezel die, wanneer je iets tegen hem zegt, je niet helpt en die je niet herinnert wanneer je vergeet."

Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about Worldly Fortunes

Narrated `Uqba bin `Amr:
The Prophet (ﷺ) once came out and offered the funeral prayer for the martyrs of Uhud, and proceeded to the pulpit and said, "I shall be your predecessor and a witness on you, and I am really looking at my sacred Fount now, and no doubt, I have been given the keys of the treasures of the world. By Allah, I am not afraid that you will worship others along with Allah, but I am afraid that you will envy and fight one another for worldly fortunes."

Overgeleverd `Uqba bin` Amr:
De Profeet (ﷺ) kwam ooit naar buiten en bood het begrafenisgebed voor de martelaren van Uhud aan, ging naar de kansel en zei: "Ik zal je voorganger en een getuige over je zijn, en ik kijk nu echt naar mijn heilige Bron, en ongetwijfeld heb ik de sleutels van de schatten van de wereld gekregen. Bij Allah, ik ben niet bang dat je anderen naast Allah zult aanbidden, maar ik ben bang dat je jaloers zult zijn op elkaar en tegen elkaar zult strijden voor wereldse fortuinen."

Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about Seeking Refuge

Sulaiman bin Surad (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
I was sitting with the Prophet (ﷺ) when two men began to quarrel and curse each other and the face of one of them turned red and the veins of his neck were swollen (from rage). Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "I know of a word, if he were to utter that, his rage would vanish and that is: A'udhu billahi minash-Shaitan nir-rajim (I seek refuge with Allah from Satan, the accursed)." So they (Companions) said to him: "The Prophet (ﷺ) tells you to utter: 'I seek refuge with Allah from Satan, the accursed".

Sulaiman bin Surad (Moge Allah tevreden met hem zijn) meldde:
Ik zat bij de Profeet (ﷺ) toen twee mannen ruzie begonnen te maken en elkaar vervloekten en het gezicht van een van hen kleurde rood en de aderen in zijn nek waren opgezwollen (van woede). Boodschapper van Allah (ﷺ) zei: "Ik weet een woord, als hij dat zou uitspreken, zou zijn woede verdwijnen en dat is: A'udhu billahi minash-Shaitan nir-rajim (ik zoek toevlucht bij Allah tegen Satan, de vervloekte)." Dus zeiden zij (metgezellen) tegen hem: "De Profeet (ﷺ) zegt u om uit te spreken: 'Ik zoek toevlucht bij Allah tegen Satan, de vervloekte".

Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about Following the Sunnah

Narrated Hudhaifa:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said to us, "Honesty descended from the Heavens and settled in the roots of the hearts of men (faithful believers), and then the Qur'an was revealed and the people read the Qur'an, (and learnt from it) and also learnt from the Sunna." Both Qur'an and Sunna strengthened their (the faithful believers') honesty.

De Boodschapper van Allah (ﷺ) zei tegen ons: "Eerlijkheid daalde neer van de Hemel en vestigde zich in de wortels van de harten van mensen (trouwe gelovigen), en toen werd de Koran geopenbaard en de mensen lazen de Koran (en leerden daarvan) en leerden ook van de Sunna." Zowel de Koran als de Sunna versterkten hun (de trouwe gelovigen) eerlijkheid.

Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "A Muslim, male or female, continues to remain under trial in respect of his life, property and offspring until he faces Allah, the Exalted, with no sin record".

Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about Following the Sunnah

Narrated `Abdullah:
The best talk (speech) is Allah's Book ('Qur'an), and the best way is the way of Muhammad , and the worst matters are the heresies (those new things which are introduced into the religion); and whatever you have been promised will surely come to pass, and you cannot escape (it).

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Recite (and study) the Qur'an as long as you are in agreement as to its interpretation and meanings, but when you have differences regarding its interpretation and meanings, then you should stop reciting it (for the time being).

Abu Yahya Suhaib bin Sinan (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "How wonderful is the case of a believer; there is good for him in everything and this applies only to a believer. If prosperity attends him, he expresses gratitude to Allah and that is good for him; and if adversity befalls him, he endures it patiently and that is better for him".

Als hij voorspoed heeft, spreekt hij dankbaarheid uit voor Allah en dat is goed voor hem en als tegenspoed hem overkomt, verdraagt hij het geduldig en dat is beter voor hem".

Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about Wishes

Narrated `Abdullah:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Do not wish to be like anybody except in two cases: The case of a man whom Allah has given wealth and he spends it in the right way, and that of a man whom Allah has given religious wisdom (i.e., Qur'an and Sunna) and he gives his verdicts according to it and teaches it." (to others i.e., religious knowledge of Qur'an and Sunna (Prophet's Traditions))."

I remember (these words) from Messenger of Allah (ﷺ): "Give up what is doubtful to you for that which is not doubtful; for truth is peace of mind and falsehood is doubt".

Ibn Mas'ud (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Truth leads to piety and piety leads to Jannah. A man persists in speaking the truth till he is recorded with Allah as a truthful man. Falsehood leads to transgression and transgression leads to the Hell-fire. A man continues to speak falsehood till he is recorded with Allah as a great liar."

Valsheid leidt tot overtreding en overtreding leidt tot het hellevuur. Een man blijft leugens spreken totdat hij bij Allah is opgetekend als een grote leugenaar. "

Narrated Ma'qil:
I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, "Any man whom Allah has given the authority of ruling some people and he does not look after them in an honest manner, will never feel even the smell of Paradise."
