Microsoft Anti-spyware beta version
Microsoft heeft vandaag de eerste publieke bètaversie van zijn AntiSpyware-programma uitgebracht. Versie 1.0.501 is vanaf deze locatie naar binnen te halen en neemt ongeveer 6,23MB harde-schijfruimte in beslag. Zoals de naam al onthuld, is dit programma in staat om een Windows-computer te scannen op aanwezigheid van spyware. Na het scannen wordt een overzicht getoond van de gevonden spyware en in een aparte kolom een beknopte beschrijving van wat voor soort spyware het is en wat het precies doet. Uiteraard is het mogelijk om de gevonden spyware van het systeem te verwijderen.
