Wat een grote rahma![/SIZE]

[SIZE=2]Secretly Say ‘Inn Shaa Allah’ after you make an Oath, it will Help you !
Shaykh Muhammad al-Uthaymeen (rahimahu Allah) :
I will also point out for you an important issue.
When you take an oath, say after it – Inn shaa Allah [if Allah wills], even if your friend doesn’t hear you. Because if you do say Inn shaa Allah, Allah will ease the affair for you to fulfil your oath, and if He [Allah] wills that [your oath] doesn’t take place, then there is no expiation on you. And this is a great benefit! So if you – for example say to someone, ‘By Allah you shall not slaughter for me, and then you say silently [inn shaa Allah], thereafter he slaughters for you, then there’s no blame on you, nor is there an expiation of an oath on you. Likewise the opposite. if you say, ‘By Allah I shall slaughter…’ then you say silently [inn shaa Allah] and the listener doesn’t hear you, then if you don’t slaughter there is no expiation on you. Due to the statement of the Prophet “Whoever swears about an oath and says: ‘If Allah wills [Inn shaa Allah], then there is no breaking of the oath against him.” [at-Tirmidhi]
And this is a great benefit, so always keep it [inn sha Allah] on your tongue, so that you have two benefits:
First benefit: So that your affairs can be made easy for you.
Second benefit: That if you break your oath, then there is no expiation on you.[/SIZE]

Ruling on taking an oath to do something then choosing a better option:
Question:
A woman took an oath not to return to her family's house, and after some time she returned to it, what is the ruling on this? Please explain this matter, may Allah reward you with the best.
Answer:
If one takes an oath that he will never visit so and so, or he will never enter the house of so and so and the like, then he views that there is an interest in breaking his oath, there is no blame on him to do so, but he should offer Kaffarah (expiation) for an oath. The Prophet (peace be upon him) stated: Whenever you take an oath to do something and later you find that something else is better than the first, then offer a Kaffarah for your oath and do what is best. Also, the Prophet (peace be upon him) stated: By Allah, In-sha' Allah (if Allah wills), if I ever take an oath to do something and then I find something else better than the first, I will offer a Kaffarah for my oath and do the better thing. Kaffarah is to feed ten needy persons, each half a Sa` (1 Sa`=3 kg. approx.) from the staple food of the country, such as dates and the like; to provide them with a dinner or lunch meal, or to clothe them with a shirt or an Izar (garment worn below the waist) and a garment for each one; or to manumit a bondsman. If one is unable to do so, one should fast three days. These are the forms of Kaffarah. It is necessary that one seeks the best option; if breaking ones oath is better, one is advised to do so and perform Kaffarah; if observing the oath is better, one should not break it. Allah (Exalted be He) stated: And protect your oaths (i.e. do not swear much).Accordingly, if there is an interest in breaking one's oath such as a person forsaking his brother or relative for no legal cause, one should break his oath and offer the Kaffarah.[/SIZE]

Question 14:
Is it obligatory upon a person who loses his temper and takes an oath but later breaks it to offer Kaffarah (expiation) for breaking the oath? How can he pay this Kaffarah?
Answer:
If a person swears to do something but does not fulfill his oath, he should offer Kaffarah (expiation) for breaking the oath. For example, if a person says, "By Allah! I will talk to so and so", "By Allah! I will visit so and so," "By Allah! I will pray such and such," and so on, but he does not fulfill his oath, then he should offer Kaffarah if he is sane and aware of what he is saying. However, if a person is extremely angry and is not aware of what he is saying, then the oath is not binding, because being aware of what the person says is a must to fulfill an oath. When a person gets extremely angry until he is unconscious of what he says and has no control over it, it is not obligatory upon such a person to offer Kaffarah as in this case he takes the same ruling of the person who is insane, idiot or one who is asleep.[/SIZE]
