Over 40 Indian nurses were ensnared in an area of Iraq captured by Sunni militants group have arrived in India after released from the insurgent-held city of Mosul.
International news reports, Iraq and Syria to the establishment of an Islamic state in fighting Islamic government of Syria and Iraq militants’ organization has released those nurses who were ensnared in an Iraq, they all reached back home.
The Iraq/Syria militant group had kidnapped these Indian nurses from Tikrit city and handed over these ladies to Indian officials, who later took them at Erbil International Airport.
The interbational media reported that Kerala chief minister Oommen Chandy met the nurses and their families at the city airport of Kochi.
The nurses ensnared as working in a state-run hospital in the northern city of Tikrit when the militant group fighters kidnapped then during the offensive last month.
A Nurse Marina Jose who told to reporters before leaving for India, “We all are very happy… We never thought we will come back, that we would come out.”
