King Faisal: RACHIMMU ALLAH

This policy of financial prudence was to become a hallmark of his era and earned him a reputation for thriftiness among the populace.Faisal still viewed the restoration of the country's finances to be his main priority. He continued to pursue his conservative financial policies during the first few years of his reign, and his aims of balancing the country's budget eventually succeeded, helped by an increase in oil production.
It was during this period as head of the Saudi government, that Faisal, though still not king, established his reputation as a reforming and modernizing figure. He introduced education for women and girls. It was also during this time that Faisal formally abolished slavery. Faisal was proclaimed king on November 2, 1964.
Prince Amr bin Mohammed Al-Faisal said: after 1967 and the fall of Jerusalem to the Israelis, that was a turning point in his life. He never smiled again. I didn't see him smile much, and he became very quiet and contemplative.
During the 1973 Arab-Israeli War, Faisal withdrew Saudi oil from world markets, in protest over Western support for Israel during the conflict. This action quadrupled the price of oil and was the primary force behind the 1973 energy crisis.
The United States threatened to use force against Saudi Arabia ,Prince Turki, who was an adviser at the Royal Court in 1973 when King Faisal took the oil-embargo decision, said the "king was not shaken by the US threat and stood firm". He added that "American officials talked about the possibility of attacking Saudi oil fields, something that was leaked in US newspapers. Some of these statements came from the then US State Secretary Henry Kissinger". Kissinger tell king faisal: "if Saudi Arabia doesn't lift the boycott, they will come and bomb the oilfields" and "you can't live without Oil" King Faisal answered back, "You know, we come from the desert, and we have been living on camel milk and dates and things, and we can easily go back and live in the desert again.". also Faisal greatly increase aid and subsidies to Egypt, Syria, and the Palestine Liberation Organization.
In 1974 he was named Time magazine's Man of the Year.
He ended relations with more than 42 countries that stand with Israel.
King Faisal began to nationalize ARAMCO (Arabian American Oil Company), he was killed in March 25, 1975 , his last word before his death was: ALLAH
