Publication time: 14 January 2013, 14:51
Reuters reports that the Mujahideen have launched a counter-offensive in city of Diabaly after three days of bombings and attacks by the French troops and forces of the military junta regime of Bamako.
According to the news agency, which refers to the local residents, the Mujahideen attacked the city and engaged in battle with the French invaders and local minions directly in the precincts of the settlements.
They began to infiltrate the city on Monday night across the river by small groups, reports Reuters.
Meanwhile, Paris has convened an emergency meeting on Mali in the UN Security Council.
Speaking to French media, the Foreign Minister of the country Fabius rejected any parallel with the protracted war in Mali like in Afghanistan.
"Later on, we can come as back-up, but we have no intention of staying forever", he said.
Fabius argued that if France would not intervene in the war, there was a real risk that the "Islamists" could reach the capital of Mali, Bamako, which in turn could lead to "disastrous consequences".
The intervention of French troops, according to the Minister, stopped rebel advance to the south.
According to the BBC News, French invaders acknowledged that combat training of the Mujahideen was a surprise for them..
One of the officials of president Hollande said that the Mujahideen of Azawad are "well-trained, well-equipped and well-armed".
It is to be recalled that earlier the AP reported that the Islamic fighters seized weapons from the warehouses of Gaddafi in Libya. In addition, the Malian Mujahideen got Russian weapons.
"What really struck us is how up-to-date their equipment is, and the way they've been trained to use it", said an unnamed terrorist Elysee Palace official.
"At the start, we thought they would be just a load of guys with guns driving about in their pick-ups, but the reality is that they are well-trained, well-equipped, and well-armed... From Libya they have got a lot of up-to-date, sophisticated equipment which is much more robust and effective than we could have imagined", confessed the French criminal.
Sahara Media also writes that terrorist Frogs, supported by American terrorists , did not expect that the valiant Mujahideen offered them such powerful resistance. Experienced fighters of the Islamic Coalition continue to hold Konna.
In connection with this, France stated that it would send more fighter jets to Mali:
"Raids are continuing right now, said terrorist defense minister Jean-Yves Le Drian. - There were raids last night; there will be more this afternoon and tomorrow".
