“Wat betekent ruwaybida” vroeg men.
Hij antwoordde: “Een onbekwame, dwaze mens zal in naam van het volk spreken!”

[SIZE="2"]The Evil And Harm Of The Innovators Is Worse Than That Of The Kuffaar:
Abu Anas Hamad Al-’Uthmaan said:
“The evil of the Jews and Christians is open and clear to the common Muslims; as for the people of innovation, then their harm is not clear to every person… This is why the Scholars see that to refute the people of innovation takes precedence over refuting the Jews and Christians.” (1)
Ibn Al-Jawzee said: Abul Fadhl Al-Hamdaanee said:
“The innovators of Islaam and the fabricators of hadeeth are more harmful than the athiests, because the athiests desire to corrupt the Religion from the outside, and these, they desire to corrupt it from within.
They are like the people of a town who strive to corrupt it (from within), but the atheists are those who have surrounded it from the outside. So the ones who are inside open up the fortress, so they are more evil to Islaam than those who do not wear the cloak of Islaam.” (2)
And Shaykhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah said:
“Their harm (the people of innovations, disbelief, or misguidance) is greater than the harm of the enemies who wage war (on the Muslims). For if those people conquer (the Muslim lands), they do not corrupt the hearts (of the people) and the religion that lies within them, except afterwards.
However, those people (the people of innovations) corrupt the hearts from the very beginning.” (3)

[SIZE=2]“It is not for a believer, man or woman”:
Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allaah and His Messenger have decreed a matter that they should have any option in their decision. And whoever disobeys Allaah and His Messenger, he has indeed strayed into a plain error” [al-Ahzaab 33:36]
Shaykh ‘Abd al-Rahmaan al-Sa’di (rahimahullaah) said:
“It is not for a believer, man or woman” means: it is not appropriate or befitting for the one who is described as a believer to do anything other than to hasten to please Allaah and His Messenger, and to flee from incurring the wrath of Allaah and His Messenger, and to obey their commands, and to avoid that which they have prohibited. It is not appropriate for a believing man or a believing woman “when Allaah and His Messenger have decreed a matter” and enjoined it, “that they should have any option in their decision”. They do not have the choice of whether to do it or not, rather the believing man and the believing woman know that the Messenger is dearer to them then their own selves, so they should not let their own whims and desires form a barrier between them and obeying the command of Allaah and His Messenger.
“And whoever disobeys Allaah and His Messenger, he has indeed strayed into a plain error” means, an obvious error, because he has forsaken the Straight Path which leads to the reward of Allaah, and has strayed to another path which leads to a painful torment. So Allaah mentions first the reason for not going against the command of Allaah and His Messenger, which is faith, then He mentions the deterrent for that, which is fear of going astray, which leads to punishment and humiliation. End quote.
