Amongst The Takfiri Intelligentsia: Abu Baseer Mustafa Haleemah

Amongst the people of knowledge, in the lands of the Arabs, Abu Baseer Mustafah Haleemah is well known as one of [sick men] amongst the Takfiris. He is well known in fact for his takfiri mentality, his staunch hatred of Imaam al-Albaani, and his mockery and sarcasm towards the latter.
In his book "al-Intisaar Li Ahl it-Tawheed War-Radd 'Alaa Man Jaadala An it-Tawaagheet" (Assisting the People of Tawheed And Refuting Those Who Argue For the False-Gods), the aforementioned Takfiri (of both skin and flesh), makes clear his hatred of Ahl ul-Hadeeth and the Carriers of the Prophetic Narration.

Abu Baseer Mustafah Haleemah has wallowed in the mires of ignorance, desire and misguidance in this aforementioned book, has innovated many principles in the issue of takfir, the sum total of which necessitate the takfir of the vast majority of the Ummaah. This will be detailed in a future article, if Allaah wills. In the magazine "al-Hikmah", Abu Bakr al-Baghdaadee has an excellent refutation of this individual. The refutation highlights the vast majority of the errors of this takfiri and inshaa'allaah it will be serialised in due course. Though it must be pointed out that there are some errors and erroneous phrases used by the author of the refutation - and this will be pointed out if Allaah wills.

Of the main theoreticians of the Qutubi Intelligentsia who were instrumental in charging the Imaam and Muhaddith of the Era, al-Albaani, of the Irjaa' of the Extremist Murji'ah, nay the Irjaa of Jahm Ibn Safwaan - were Abu Baseer Mustafa Halimah and Safar al-Hawali. As for al-Hawali, then inshaa'allaah his sarcasm and mockery and belittlement of Imaam al-Albaani - something that very few people are aware of - as occurs in his book of bid'ah and hawaa, Dhaahirat ul-Irjaa - then that will soon be highlighted to illustrate "the extremity of evil" of the book (as Imaam al-Albaani himself described it).

Stated Abu Baseer in his book (p.48), "And amongst the (objections) is that this saying, which is but the outlining and laying down the principles of the aqidah of Jahm Ibn Safwaan concerning Imaan, which is restricting kufr to the belief of the heart and its juhood (rejection), and perhaps Jahm himself did not make such references and indications (in these matters) that the Shaikh (i.e. al-Albaani) is making!!.

This is just one example O AHl us-Sunnah - and more will be presented. Alas, Ahl us-Sunnah do not truly understand the great evil promoted by Abu Baseer Mustafa Halimah on the one hand and Safar al-Hawali on the other hand!! And nor do they truly understand from which direction and angle those who are poisoned by their teachings, whether in the Arab lands or in the West, are actually coming from. Those who used the accusation of Irjaa' in order to promote their own takfiri manhaj.

What is disturbing though, is that many of those caught up in this fitnah, in their ignorance, do not actually understand the "current [sad state of] affairs" and have ended up supporting those who are in fact the enemies of the Carriers of the Prophetic Ahaadeeth. For how silent they remain about the mockery of the Prophets of Allaah, and how silent they remain about revilement of the Companions, nay until takfir of them, and how silent they remain about the books that contain the bid'ahs of the Jahmiyyah, Soofiyyah, Khawaarij, Ash'ariyyah, Mu'tazilah and much more. Even worse, how much hatred they show to those who refute all of the above, and even worse, how much hatred they show to those who expose those who defend the likes who made mockery of the Prophets of Allaah and made takfir of the Companions and reviled the one in front of who even the Angels are shy of.

By Allaah what a despicable state. Al-Albaani is Murji, nay Jahmi, and he must be refuted and spoken of and his affair made clear. But speaking about Qutb is haraam and exposing his statements of kufr is haraam and speaking about those who promote his books of bid'ah and destruction is haraam. Nay, it is just Ahl ul-Hadeeth who must be refuted and brought down in the eyes of people. As for those who revive the aqidah of the Khawaarij, make takfir of the sinners, call our Ulamaa "the scholars of women's menses and impurities", take Dhul-Khuwaisarah at-Tamimi as their leader and guide, work alongside the chiefs and figureheads of Hizb ut-Tahrir and other strayers in order to cause dissension and tumult, then no it is haraam. Speaking about them is backbiting and talking ill of Awliyaa of Allaah. We seek refuge in Allaah from hawaa and misguidance after guidance, wallaahul-musta'aan.

Imaam Ibn Baaz Selected For Next Takfiri Assault

Stated Shaikh Ali Hasan Abdul-Hameed – hafidhahullaah: “And I have also said, that I certainly do fear that al-Albani would be the first one to be chosen (for the accusation of al-Irjaa&rsquo and the other will be Ibn Baaz. And I see this matter occurring in the very near future. So I hope that my words and this suspicion of mine is falsehood. And I hope that my words that Shaikh Ibn Baaz should be accused with al-Irjaa’ are falsehood.
This is because those who say that Shaikh al-Albani is a Murji’ because he makes takfir of the one who rules by other than what Allaah has revealed [in all its forms] on account of Istihlaal (only) – then this is the saying of Shaikh Ibn Baaz, word for word, in the second volume of his fataawaa. So what exactly is it that has made them say Shaikh Naasir is a Murji’ and that Shaikh Ibn Baaz is not a Murji’?They are waiting for the death of the scholars so that they can have an open field.” (Cassette:Question and Answer Session, Birmingham UK, Dated 29th July 2000 CE).

Know O Sunni, that the words of the Shaikh have indeed come into effect. For, it was only a matter of time before the Khaarijiyyah Asriyyah moved onto the next of the Imaams that was a barrier in face of their Qutubic ideals.

Stated, the one blind in both vision and insight, Abu Baseer Mustafah Haleemah, and he is a well-known Takfiri based in Syria, commenting upon Imaam Ibn Baaz and his position on ruling by other than what Allaah has revealed:

“And now it is our right that we ask and that we ask each other: Which of the two sayings of the Shaikh is the actual saying of the Shaikh?.. And which of them abrogates the other?.. And is there the abrogating (naasikh) and the abrogated (mansookh) in the issues of Imaan and Kufr?.. Or is it that the button of the Taaghoots that were being pressed upon the Shaikh that were causing him to make this overturning and changing (of his viewpoint)??!!

The Shaikh – rahimahullaah – has passed away, and yet he left a great gap in this particular area… the Shaikh – rahimahullaah – did not quench the thirst of the Muwahhideen by speaking a clear truthful word with respect to those Taaghoots who oppress the Ummah… and how is our need for this (i.e. a truthful word about these Taaghoots). The Shaikh – rahimahullaah and may Allaah pardon him – he has explained everything, except in one matter, the matter of Tawheed ul-Haakimiyyah, and at-Tashree’ (legislation), except the matter of those Taaghoots, except the issue of these laws of kufr that are made incumbent upon the servants and the lands, with both iron (i.e. iron rods) and fire, those which almost strip the Ummah of its religion and its creed. For he did not explain this matter and he left it widely ambiguous so that the disputers could argue concerning it, and those who make interpolations could make interpolations… and similar (to his case) is Shaikh Naasir and Shaikh Ibn Uthaimeen (may Allaah have mercy upon them all).” End of the Takfiri’s words. Know O Sunni, that those who have emerged in the current times and have revived the manhaj of Sayyid Qutb and have focused their attention upon the Rulers, and have assaulted the Salafis merely because they do not share with the activist revolutionaries in venting their anger at the Rulers, and making them the subject of the da’wah, the beginning point of da’wah and the end point of da’wah and the sole concern of da’wah and the essence of da’wah – then they are persistent on attacking the honour of the Imaams of the Sunnah. And their saying necessitates that Imaam al-Albaani, Imaam Ibn Baaz, Imaam Ibn Uthaimeen are Extremist Murji’ah because they condition the kufr of the one who does not rule by what Allaah has revealed with Istihlaal or I’tiqaad and the likes.

As for the murmurings of the Takfiri quoted above, then that is pure mockery and sarcasm of Imaam Ibn Baaz as well as some veiled and hidden attacks. Firstly, notice how he makes mockery of the Shaikh by implying that the viewpoint of the Shaikh changes when the government “presses the button”. Then he claims that the Shaikh never uttered a “truthful” word at all in this issue. Then he makes his intent clear by saying that the Shaikh explained every other matter except this one – and this reinforces his earlier slander about Imaam Ibn Baaz speaking (or not speaking) in accordance to the desires of his “Taaghoot Masters”. And as for this issue, then this is the issue around which their da’wah revolves, haakimiyyah and takfir, and this why there is such a great assault against our Imaams and rebuking them on this issue, because, they did not wallow in the extremism of this Takfiri.

Consider, carefully, Imaam Ibn Baaz, Imaam al-Albaani, Imaam Ibn Uthaimeen have explained all the affairs of the religion, yet they left only one issue – in the view of the Takfiris – and that is the issue of takfir and haakimiyyah – yet they clarified everything else of the Islamic aqeedah and manhaj, and yet still, they are to be rebuked and scolded and vilified and attacked and defamed and mocked.

But as for the Sayyid of all the neo-Qutubites, the Khaarijiyyah Asriyyah, then he deviated on just about all of the affairs of the creed, uttering statements of kufr and apostasy, mocking one of the Messengers of Allaah, making takfir of Banu Umayyah, reviling Uthmaan (radiallaahu anhu), calling for the abolition of parts of the Sharee’ah because they are outdated, speaking with the bid’ahs of the Jahmiyyah, Soofiyyah, Ash’ariyyah, Mu’tazilah, Raafidah, and many other wicked positions and statements – rather the affair reached such a state that he would not even pray Jumu’ah claiming it was not obligatory in the absence of a Khilaafah – however, he explained and clarified a single matter, that of al-Haakimiyyah, resulting in his takfir of all Muslim societies and nation states and his calling for a destructive Jihaad against Mankind and yet he is turned into an “Imaam of Guidance” and one who understands Taweed better than anyone else in the current times, and the tongues must be silent, and must withdraw from speaking about him and of his kufr and apostasy (in his statements) and of his innovations and so on, rather his flesh is poisonous and speaking about him is actually speaking about the religion of the Lord Most High.

By Allaah, the affair of the Khaarijiyyah Asriyyah is all but apparent for anyone who has eyes to see and a heart to understand. Do you not see how silent they remain in the face of those who are the true sources of their teachings? Do you not see how silent they remain when the likes of Imaam al-Albaani, Imaam Ibn Baaz, Imaam Ibn Uthaimeen are mocked and reviled and ridiculed by the likes of this neo-Takfiri Abu Baseer Mustafa Haleemah and by the rest of the Activists? And yet when Ahl us-Sunnah speak of their mentors and highlight their errors, the whole world is turned upside down?!! They see twigs in the eyes of Ahl us-Sunnah, yet they fail to see the branches in the eyes of their mentors.

You should know that Ahl ul-Bid’ah are united upon the hatred of Imaam al-Albaani and they are also united upon the manhaj of Sayyid Qutb, and these two affairs are the clearest of evidences of their subscribing to ways of the Khawaarij, which is but khurooj and the use of the sword – even if it be by the mere utterance of a word. And this is why you see the kind of statements from the neo-Takfiris, like those of Abu Baseer Mustafah Halimah above.
