€12 million pay-off will see the veteran striker exit in the summer...
Real Madrid captain Raul will leave the club at the end of the season if the club agree to pay out the last remaining year on his contract, according to AS.
Raul's deal with los Merengues is set to expire on June 30, 2011 and the player's agent Gines Caraval is understood to have told general manager Jorge Valdano that he is prepared for a summer departure from the club if the club agrees to his demands which, including bonuses, is said to be in the region of €12 million.
The 32-year-old striker has scored 311 goals in 719 appearances for Madrid since making his debut in 1994 and collected a host of trophies along the way including three UEFA Champions League crowns and six Primera Liga titles.
Raul has dropped down the pecking order with los Blancos this season and has seen his star has faded considerably having scored just six times in 36 appearances in all competitions, his worst goals to games ratio in 16 years in the first team.
