I stretch out on the shore
And think of you
Had I told the sea
What I felt for you,
It would have left its shores,
Its shells,
Its fish,
And followed me.

The Impossible Love
I love you so much,
and I know that the road to the impossible is so long,
and I know that you are the best of women,
I have no other alternative .
I know that the time of lovers finished,
and the beautiful words died,
What can I say to the best of women,
I love you so much

There are wind, lightning, clouds,
thunder, snow and fire between us
and I know that reaching your eyes is just an illusion,

I feel that I am the king of time
I possess the earth and everything on it
and ride into the sun upon my horse.
When I love
I become liquid light
invisible to the eye
and the poems in my notebooks
become fields of mimosa and poppy.
When I love
the water gushes from my fingers
grass grows on my tongue
when I love
I become time outside all time.
When I love a woman
all the trees
run barefoot toward me…
