Asalaam Alaikom zuster, ik bedank je voor je mededeling en ik begrijp dat je het met de goede intentie bedoelt. Maar zal ik je wat eens vertellen? The Qur'an cannot always be taken literally, and that's a problem with a lot of Muslims today.
As Shaykh Hamza Yusuf pointed out; in Islam there's NAQL (texts) and AQL (reasoning, logic), and those who just use texts are simply NAQL-heads (As we nowadays like to call them knuckle heads), but the point is that we should not only read the texts and take them in their literal meaning. Well, I mean to say that the the text above has a context around it. And you kept it away, you see, this is how Wilders' mentality works. Just make the Islam look very severe and hard! But it isn't, it's all about finding peace and worshipping Allah as he asked us.
My fellow sister, did you know that the prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) encouraged sports and hobbies? In his time he told the people to do those things to clear the minds and keep you busy while you're training your brain. In that time it was horse-riding Where I'm pointing at is that in Islam we may do all we desire as long as it's halal and it doesn't keep you away from your daily salaat and Quran reciting etc.. So if you're doing it, like me playing the guitar or you surfing on the net, just do it without it keeping away from the religion too much. And as far as I know, don't we know each other so let us all keep the judgment to our Lord, insha Allah.
I thank you for your time and I'm grateful that someone like you still keeps the society up-to-date about the Islam. But next time try better and use your 'AQL'
And Allah knows better!
Peace and bebye!
