Roken in de naam van allah (swt)????? haram of niet?

Voor het verrichten van een daad moet bismillah zeggen. Geld dit ook voor roken???? Roken is niet verboden, maar wordt wel afgeraden. Als je toch rookt mag je dit dan doen in de naam van Allah (swt)????

For the Muslim is not entirely his own master; he is also an asset to his religion and his ummah (the Muslim nation), and his life, health, wealth, and all that Allah has bestowed upon him are a trust with him, which he is not permitted to diminish. Says Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala: And do not kill yourselves; indeed, Allah is ever Merciful to you. (4:29) He also says: And do not be cast into ruin by your own hands.... (2:195) And His Messenger (peace be on him) said: "Do not harm yourself or others.'' (Reported by Ahmad and Ibn Majah.) As an application of this principle, we may say that if it is proved that the use of tobacco is injurious to health, it is haram, especially for a person whose physician has advised him to stop smoking. Even if it is not injurious to health, it is still a waste of money, spent neither for religious nor for secular benefit, and the Prophet (peace be on him) forbade wasting of property. (Reported by al-Bukhari.) This becomes the more serious when the money is otherwise needed for the sustenance of oneself or one's family.

Well, it does not intoxicate, so there is no reason for it to be haram like alcohol and drugs BUT it is bad for the health and in certain situations (especially with young people) it can be bad for your nafs (ego). That is why I don't recommend smoking. But if you are a person who smokes for the pleasure (as I do) then I don't see why you cannot excercise your free will and smoke. Origineel gepost door samsha in de qoran staat niet letterlijk dat roken haraam is, maar er staat wel dat alles wat je doet (eten ,drinken,enz) wat tot gezondheids problemen of je dood leid haraam is. Dus asjeblieft rook nooit in naam van Allah. trouwens vind ik niet dat mensen lullig en gemeen op zijn vraag moeten reageren want hij vraagt het gewoon, als hij het zou weten had ie het niet gevraagd. dankje wel zuster :goedzo:

As Salaam Aleikoem Wel heb ik van horen zeggen dat als je bv een aansteker aan iemand geeft dat je dat dan doet met de woorden "moge Allah me vergeven" Bij sigaretten denk ik dat het ook van toepassing is. Wat hier precies van waar is alleen HIJ weet het. Verboden heb ik nooit gelezen over roken wel dat het je schaadt en in dat geval zou het Haram wezen en moet je je toevlucht tot HEM zoeken tegen deze daad en vergeving vragen. Maar alleen Hij weet het gewoon niet roken dus :D Dit is mijn mening Wa Aleikoem as Salaam
