In Amerika komt het soms voor dat mediums worden ingeschakeld om mee te helpen met moordzaken. Het komt ook vaak voor dat ze met behulp van deze mediums worden opgelost. Waarom zou dat geen gift kunnen zijn van God?

Ik ben 1 keer geweest, toen wist ik niet dat het haram was ik was 14 en was met een nicht meegeweest, het was hartikke druk, en ze deed net of ze bezeten was, ik moest wel lachen, ze werd zogenaam boos omdat ik moest lachen, maar was wel leuk om te zien. Allah says in the Qur'an that "no one in the heaven and earth knows the hidden things except Allah." (al-Naml 27:65) Even the Prophet -peace be upon him- did not know the hidden things except what Allah revealed to him. "Say, I do not say to you that I possess Allah treasures, nor that I have the knowledge of the unseen…" (al-An'am 6:50) The Prophet -peace be upon him- told us only that which Allah revealed to him and allowed him to tell. No one after him has that knowledge to tell about the future. Soothsaying and fortunetelling are things that belong to the realm of occult and have no religious or scientific basis. About the astrologers (manajjimun) it is correctly said, "They are liars even if what they say turn out to be true". Whatever they say is not based on illusion and imagination and not any solid knowledge. The Prophet -peace be upon him- forbade Muslims from going to the fortunetellers. It is reported by Abu Huraira and Hasan -may Allah be pleased with them- that the Prophet -peace be upon him- said, "Whosoever went to a soothsayer or fortuneteller and believed in him, he disbelieved in what is revealed upon Muhammad -peace be upon him. (Musnad Ahmad bin Hanbal, Hadith no. 9172) One should avoid going to fortunetellers even for amusement purpose, because this might lead to believing in them or supporting them in their falsehood. However, Scientific predictions on the basis of calculations and analysis, which are required for all future planning, and preparations do not come in the prohibition of fortunetelling or soothsaying. Ik ben nooit snel tevreden als het om zulke zaken gaat en vind het dus niet voldoende. Ik wil niet zeggen dat ik een gave heb, ik kan niet in de toekomst kijken, maar ik heb een HELE sterke intuitie en ik wil weten waarom ik dit heb.
